Original image before being unfocused

Students were projected an image on the smartboard. Each day the image was more in focus, which gave more color and information. Eventually the screen was shut off before entirely being focused. At this point students were able to make independent decisions, while continuing to manipulate the surface of their canvas. Students used stenciling, different painting mediums, palette knives, splattering, dripping etc.
